Thainycteris aureocollaris Kock & Storch, 1996

Previously treated as a synonym of Areilulus based on morphological similarity following Csorba and Lee (2006). However, molecular work suggests these two genera are not closely related; see Francis et al. (2010), Görföl et al. (2018, 2020).
