Pale-faced Bat
The generic name Phylloderma is neuter and therefore the correct spelling of the species epithet is septentrionale. It is not yet clear if Costa Rican populations belong to septentrionale or stenops as Camacho et al. (2026) did not include specimens from Costa Rica in their study.
